TBD    WE NEED TO KNOW (2015)

 

Poor Famly is in the process of organizing an annual "We Need to Know" foundation fundraiser for our inner-city youth here in Richmond and other surrounding tri-cities throughout Virginia where the violence has become an epidemic. We also understand this is a nation and worldwide problem that needs to be supported and addressed as well, home is just where the fight begins. We live in a city where our youth is separated by sides that  hate each other  with a passion - for no reason! But the sad part about it, we are all related in one way or another. We feel the youth need to be educated about the rich slave history in our hometown so they will know it's their own folk being brutally slaughtered in the streets. Yes, gunned down for what!!! Our children is the primary aim in this battle. And this is why the soldiers and men of god have put their lives on front line. The war majority of our children are in, most of us have already been through. If we teach our future at an early age we could possibly break this cycle of mind control and become unified like we were when we arrived as slaves. And we also have to keep our indian heritage and spirit alive as well. Personally, I am willing to speak and share my testimony whether it's through music, speeches, acting or whatever it takes a real man to step up and take charge to make this change. We refuse to socialize on facebook and comment on negative posts without targeting what's most important, especially if it's not pertaining to business or personal endeavor's.  Families continue to suffer everyday from loosing a loved one so if you co-sign inner city violence as well as violence nation and worldwide this is not your place, Foree!
