Poor Famly Pride Music is an independent association intended to end the epidmic of extreme poverty and illness by promoting good music with a message. While other indie artists have already built relationships with certain non-profit orgs, here at Poor Famly we strive to raise awareness by working with independent recording artists to promote their music and contribute to a cause they truly support and care about. This is aslo a great oppurtunity for each artist to share their struggle and passion through both music and charity as well. Benefit concerts (free show) is special way to promote and donate your music/performance to a worthwhile cause.
Volunteering through art is a rather unique way of giving back and music is a powerful way to send or support a message. So, if you're interested in using your talents and gifts to spread love through your music, help educate children and give back to those in dying needs through-out your region and around, you are defintely welcome to the kingdom of Poor famly.We mainly focus on the less fortunate because we believe our gifts are for a purpose and helping is the main goal.
One of our biggest goal is to reach the masses worldwide. We believe love is living large and we stand behind that 100%. This is a great opppurtunity for Richmond, Va. and surrounding cities across the region to get involved and we would be more than honored to use this great platform to raise awareness for the cause. Your support is important and by associatiing with Poor Famly you can network with artists and people who support you.
After much thought and intentions to act solely as a non-profit organization to help the inner-city struggles, we decided to focus more on promoting good music that will help save lives, generate jobs which will create continous growth and development.
Music is a way we express our social/emotional issues and concerns that could inspire those affected by the hardship of life whether it's through a song, performance or video.
We consider all music downloads and purchases to be donations not sells, hoping fans would perhaps donate to the cause. A portion of the proceeds will help provide services throughtout the community year round and portion will go to the artist's that become a part of the movement to ensure everyone is supported for their endeavours. A percentage of donations received from music downloads would be used to provide: free meals, clothes, educational programs, talent shows etc.
Our association is not an anti-rich movement. We believe in empowering all people. Not only are we looking at creative ways to fundraise and reach new audiences, but we're also inviting people to contribute to music that moves people. If you are a small non-profit or a local artists in your community - why not network with others to benefit a cause and kickstart your career at the same time? The gate to the kingdom is open, Foree!
